These are the list of products I’m obsessed with and/or loving this month. I’ve got some good ones this month!
1. Yves Saint Laurent Faux Cils Mascara
This stuff plus my eyelashes?!?! Pure orgasmic heaven. Seriously. If I thought I loved Maybelline Lash Stiletto I am now having a love affair with Faux Cils. I don’t know how the heck I am ever supposed to go back! Eeek! This stuff is a bit pricey though! If I remember correctly I spent about $30 for one tube of Faux Cils. And it gives my lashes instant life, literally. Now yall already know that my lashes are super out of control (long thick AND curly) and mascaras for women are not one size fits all. But this stuff thickens, lifts and gives me all the volume I need. There’s tons of product in one tube and has quite a pleasant smell or a soft floral perfume. If I put the Faux Cils on first and them separate my lashes with the Maybelline Lash Stiletto I get even greater results. This just became my favorite new lash combo!
2. Clarisonic Mia 2
I blogged about this one a few months ago because I was debating on purchasing. Well I did, and after my chemical peel process was over and done with I’ve been using it to maintain the results of the peel and WOW. I actually have pores that STAY clear! And since I live in Kuwait and it’s super dusty and windy here, my skin goes through some dry spells where it will start to peel again. The Clarisonic clears all that right up. And it makes my skin feel SO supple. That along with drinking tons of water daily I’m sure helps. The Clarisonic has replaceable brush heads that you can purchase depending on your skin sensitivity and needs. I use the deep pore cleaning ones because I do not have sensitive skin. I love this thing and have been using it 3 times a week. I am finally back on a good exfoliation routine for my skin…Love love LOVE!
3. MAC Impassioned Lipstick and Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Cha Cha
Impassioned lipstick is kind of like a neon pink and when I put it on I instantly feel like I’m in the 80’s. BUT that’s okay because yall know I am wild about color! When I put OCC’s Cha Cha on top, I get so many compliments! I’d like to say that I am pretty good at finding a hot coral lip every summer, and this year I think that’s my pair of the season 🙂
4. Arm & Hammer Advanced White Toothpaste with Baking Soda
Okay I know this may seem out of place, but this channel is about all things beauty, right? And how important is it to everyone to have a nice white beautiful smile? Pretty damn important if you ask me! lol And since I get asked aaaaall the time how I keep my teeth so white (I promise I truly do not do teeth whitening or anything out of the ordinary, I just use this toothpaste and I stay away from dark drinks IE soda and coffee) I just thought I’d share my favorite toothpaste. I am so glad they sell it here in Kuwait because this really is the only toothpaste that doesn’t have the weird artificial taste to it. When I was younger my mom used to always put baking soda in my toothpaste and brush my teeth with it, I am convinced that has also contributed to my teeth being so white as an adult. A beautiful smile is a HUGE deal to me so if I can share a way to get whiter teeth without spending tons of money, why not share it?!
